Home Brew Supply is proud to offer special discounted prices for a variety of reasons.
Home Brew Supply is a proud sponsor of the Foamy Express Ryeders home brewing club in the greater St. Joseph, MO area. Members of the Foamy Express are extended a variety of benefits including use of the store’s brewing system (by appointment), participation in free classes, and a 5% discount on merchandise. Membership in the Foamy Express is annual – renewable in October, and members must show their membership card at the time of sale to receive the discount. Contact the club for information on joining.
Home Brew Supply is a proud sponsor of historical brewing as it is represented in brewing guilds throughout the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. (SCA.) Even if you do not belong to one of the Special Interest groups, you can still receive discounts for ordering in bulk. Member of a different brewing club? Get the members to pool their needs into one order. Frequent brewer? Budget your needs out for the next month or the next quarter. Due to the varied costs of bulk orders, there is not a standard discount across the board. However, we offer bulk discounts for grain, malt extracts, hops, corn sugar, adjuncts, and yeast. We offer “case lot” discounts on beer kits, 28-day wine kits, some books, and some equipment items. We also offer “pallet load” discounts on bottles, carboys, equipment kits, and some other large items. Call (800) 285-4695 or email our INFO line with specific questions.
While our frequent brewers club has undergone numerous iterations over the years, and has seemingly disappeared, it pops up periodically as a “special offering”. Check out the web store periodically for “club” discounts based on $$ spent, or come by the brick-and-mortar for special promotions offering from 5% to 30% discounts on point-of-sale items.
· Spend $300 on brewing supplies between New Years Day and St. Patrick’s Day, and receive 10% off your next purchase.
· Spend $250 with us between Halloween and Christmas, and receive a $10 gift certificate.
· Spend $500 or more in any given calendar month, and receive a free one-year membership in the American Homebrewers Association (AHA.)
